CFS Engineering Consultants is a multi-discipline engineering firm that was founded by Dr Antonio Cicione. Dr Cicione completed his PhD in Fire Engineering at the University of Stellenbosch, where he gained a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of fire behaviour. The formation of CFS prompted by the realisation that the South African fire industry requires more technical expertise and knowledge. In response, CFS Engineering Consultants was founded to fill this gap and provide high-quality engineering services to clients in need. Today, our team at CFS consists of professional fire, structural, and wet service engineers who are dedicated to delivering top-quality engineering services to our clients. We have a wide range of experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, including structural engineering, wet services, rational fire designs, sprinkler designs, oil and gas fire designs, CFD modelling, evacuation modelling, fire investigations, and more. Our team, consisting of technical specialists with over 43 years of individual experience, is actively participating in SABS workgroups for standards on fire and wet services. We have been fortunate to work on projects all over the world, and we have built a reputation as a trusted and reliable engineering consultancy. In addition to our engineering work, we also maintain a close relationship with the Fire Research Division Group at Stellenbosch University and lecture on a variety of fire-related courses.
